About Us

 | Sacred Circle Salves is a cottage industry owned by Joseph and Catt Redcloud. Located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains on the Cherokee Indian Reservation.
The name Sacred Circle Salves was chosen because we believe that life is a circle. We have been making herbal products for fifteen years mostly for our own use and for our friends who requested them. Gradually word spread of their effectiveness and more and more requests came in.
Our strong beliefs in our products stem from generations of knowledge in herbal formulas. Joseph, a direct decendant of Swimmer, has used the knowledge passed down through his family to provide these products to you. Catt has also used sacred formulas passed down through her combined Native American family.

| Swimmer, an ancestor of Joseph Redcloud, was the last 'true' medicine man of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Natives. It is said that when he died he took over half of the Cherokee history as it was not written down. |
